Individual as customer

Our company deals with individuals as well as companies.
In the case of a company, no real issue. Enter the company name, and off you go.

What if we're talking about John Doe - what's his company name?

The workaround for a system that deals with companies but not individuals:

Company Name = Doe, John.

This way, sorting by company name will essentially sort by last name, first name. Make sure you follow a standard though...

I just wanted to bring this up because other systems have this limitation and I thought others might find the workaround helpful.
